Creating a message template
A message template is created as follows:
- Open the "Management" open
- Tap on "Message Templates" under the area "Communication" area
- Tap the blue plus icon at the bottom right
- An input dialog opens for creating a message template
- Purpose (Groups the templates into one action)
- Template name
- Channels (email/SMS). Here you can select the communication channel via which the message template is to be sent
- Subject
- Subject text
- Parameters: Parameters can be used in the subject line to generate subject lines such as "Your booking for the period". The parameter "Period" is replaced by the corresponding value when sending. The parameters are displayed in the message template with "{1}" whereby 1 corresponds to the first parameter, 2 to the second parameter, etc.
- If a selected parameter is to be removed, the corresponding parameter can be removed in the parameter listing row by swiping to the to the left.
- Main text
- The text addressed to the guest who is supposed to read this message
- Parameters: Parameters can also be used here. The function is analogous to that in the subject line.
- By tapping on the checkmark in the upper right corner, the entries are saved, the dialog is closed, and the creation of the message template is completed
- The entry can be canceled via the "X" in the top left corner
Automatic sending of messages
Messages can also be sent automatically. Sending is triggered by events, e.g., "Booking created" or "Booking starts". The triggers are created as follows:
- Tap "Add trigger" while creating a message template
- Tap the blue plus icon at the bottom right
- The first trigger is created, in which the time delay as well as the desired event can be set
- Additional triggers are created via the blue plus icon
- A trigger can be removed with a swipe to the left
- By tapping on the checkmark in the top right corner, the entries are saved and the creation of the message template is displayed
