Creating a Template

A template is created as follows:

  • Open the "Administration" tab
  • Tap "Templates" under the "Communication" section
  • Tap the blue plus icon in the bottom right
  • An input dialog opens for creating a template
    • Purpose (groups the templates by an action)
    • Name of the template
    • Channels (email/SMS). Here you can select which communication channel the template should be sent through
    • Subject
      • Text of the subject
      • Parameters: You can use parameters in the subject to create subject lines such as "Your booking for the period". The "period" parameter is replaced with the corresponding value when the message is sent. Parameters are shown in the template as "1", where 1 corresponds to the first parameter, 2 to the second parameter, and so on.
      • To remove a selected parameter, swipe left on the corresponding parameter in the list of parameters.
    • Body
      • The text addressed to the guest who is meant to read this message
      • Parameters: You can use parameters here as well. This works the same way as in the subject.
    • Tapping the checkmark in the top right saves your entries, closes the dialog, and completes the creation of the template
    • You can cancel your input via the "X" in the top left

Sending Messages Automatically

Messages can also be sent automatically. Sending is triggered by events, e.g. "Booking created" or "Booking starts". Triggers are created as follows:

  • Tap "Add trigger" within the template creation
  • Tap the blue plus icon in the bottom right
  • The first trigger is created, where you can set both the time offset and the desired event
    • Additional triggers are created via the blue plus icon
  • A trigger can be removed with a left swipe gesture
  • Tapping the checkmark in the top right saves your entries and the template creation view is shown
