Creating a Payment
A payment can be recorded in the app as follows:
- Open the "Administration" tab
- In the "Finances" section, tap "Payments"
- Tap the blue plus icon in the bottom right
- An input dialog for creating a payment opens
- Title of the payment (e.g. issuing three beach tents)
- Unit price
- Quantity
- Description
- You can add another line item using the blue plus icon in the bottom right
- An added line item can be deleted with a swipe gesture to the left or right
- Tapping the checkmark in the top right completes the entry and another dialog opens for recording the payment
- The displayed amount due is calculated from the total of the line items entered above
- Tap the respective payment method to settle the amount accordingly
- To enable the "Card payment" option, it must be configured in the settings
- When the transaction is completed, a receipt with a sequential invoice number is created automatically.
Splitting a Payment
You can split a payment. This can be useful when, for example, part of an amount is paid with a voucher and the remaining balance is to be settled in cash or by card.
A total amount can be split as follows:
- In the payment dialog, tap the amount due
- A row expands in which the first amount can be entered
- Another row showing the remaining amount is displayed automatically, which can be split again
- Tapping the arrow resets the split
- Another row showing the remaining amount is displayed automatically, which can be split again
- In the lower section, a tile appears for each split line item. Within it you can select the respective payment option.
- Once the payment is completed, the respective line item can no longer be edited
