Set Up Card Payment

With the My Rental app you can offer card payment to settle rental transactions. Currently the provider "SumUp" is supported.

The following instructions assume that you have at least one SumUp card payment device as well as a set-up account. In addition, the following values are required:

Setup​

Card payment via SumUp is set up as follows:

  • Open the "Administration" tab
  • In the "Finances" section, tap "SumUp"
  • A setup dialog opens in which the following values must be entered
    • Affiliate Key
    • API key
    • Login: Once both values have been entered, you need to log in to SumUp using the "Login" button

Testing​

The connection to the card reader can be tested in the "Terminals" section.

Setting Up Additional Devices​

If payments are to be processed across several devices, you can share the settings via a QR code. To do so, tap the share icon share icon in the setup dialog and scan the QR code with the device you want to set up.
