Creating a tax

In the Taxes settings dialog, different taxes, e.g., value-added tax, can be stored. A tax rate is created as follows:

  • Open the "Management" tab
  • In the area "Finances" tap on "Taxes"
  • A dialog opens for creating a tax:
    • Name, e.g. VAT
    • Tax rate, e.g., 19%
    • Included in the price: If the check mark is set, the tax rate is included in the displayed price.
      • If the check mark is not set, the tax rate is added to the price.
    • Valid from/Valid until: A period can be specified for a tax rate during which the specified tax rate is calculated.
      • If no date or period is specified, the tax rate applies immediately for an indefinite period.
  • By tapping on the checkmark in the upper right corner, the entries are saved, the dialog is closed, and the creation process is completed.
  • The entry can be canceled via the "X" in the top left corner

If multiple tax rates are specified, all tax rates stored in the system are used for the price calculation.
