Overview of bookings

Under the tab "Bookings" all bookings that have been created in the app are displayed. The bookings are sorted in ascending order by date - the next output of a booked capacity is at the top, and the one further in the future is further down. The bookings are grouped by day.

By default, the issues are displayed. In the tab "Returns" all upcoming returns can be displayed. The delisting is equivalent to the issues.

A booking reserves capacities and a quantity. The specific item the customer takes is determined only at the time of pickup: there, specific rental objects are assigned to the booked units.

The following information is displayed for each booking day:

  • Day of the week and date of the booking or issue
  • Print function
    • By tapping the printer icon, the booking is selected for a printer view (indicated by the check mark displayed instead of the printer icon). Optionally, additional days can be selected. By tapping on the icon below, "Print" a summary of the selected days can be printed.
  • Customer name
  • Number of units to be picked up
  • Total duration in days
  • For a few days in the future (measured from the current day), the summary of the capacities to be issued is also displayed. To do this, the date group must be expanded.

Search for a booking​

Tapping the magnifying glass symbol in the upper right corner opens a search dialog in which the desired search term can be entered. When the entry is confirmed, all bookings matching the search term are displayed. Tapping on one selects it.

Notifications​

Tapping the bell icon in the upper right corner opens a dialog that displays all notifications related to bookings. This can be, for example, an indication that a message could not be delivered. Currently, this feature is only available on Android.

Filtering a time period​

If you want to select a different date from which the issues or returns are displayed, you can set this by tapping the calendar icon in the top right corner. In the dialog that opens, you can select the start date from which the bookings or returns are displayed. For example, if February 4 is selected, loans and returns from February 4 will be displayed.

Updating the booking overview​

Tapping the arrow symbol in the top right corner updates both issues and returns. An hourglass is displayed during the update. As soon as the original arrow symbol is displayed here, the process is complete.
