Creating a Booking

Tip

A Booking only requires the name or first name, the date, and at least one Capacity.

A Booking is created as follows:

  • Open the "Bookings" tab
  • Tap the blue plus icon at the bottom right
  • An input dialog for creating a Booking opens. Only as much data as needed is requested and stored:
    • Customer/contact information
      • Salutation (if "By first name" is selected, the customer is addressed informally throughout system-wide communication)
      • First name, last name
      • Email
      • Phone number
    • Capacities
      • Date
        • If "All day" is deselected, you can choose the time. The current time is used as the starting value and can be adjusted as needed. For a quick booking, you can use the quick options "+1 hour", "+1 day", or "-1 day" here. The period is adjusted accordingly.
      • Selecting the Capacity and the quantity
        • The system automatically determines the Availability for the selected period. This is reflected in the numbers shown alongside each entry.
      • If prices are stored in the system (see article x), the price for the Booking is determined automatically. Tap the "i" icon to see information about the calculation.
      • Notes
        • Helpful information about the Booking can be entered here.
      • Tapping the check mark at the top right saves your entries, closes the dialog, and completes the creation of the Booking.
      • You can cancel your input via the "X" at the top left.
        • Any changes you made are not discarded. They can be reloaded if needed (via a dialog).
