Managing Availabilities

Adding supplementary information to an availability

It is possible to add further information (e.g. a description or an image) to an availability in order to display it during online reservation. The following steps are required:

  • Select the "Availabilities" navigation item
  • Click an availability within the table
  • An input dialog opens:
    • Name
    • Description
    • File selection
      • To add a photo, for example, you must first upload it under the "Files" navigation item. It can then be selected in the file selection.
      • If needed, several files can be selected here. To do so, click "Add Upload" each time to select the corresponding file.
      • To remove a file, click the red "trash icon".
    • Activate
      • It is possible to exclude availabilities from online reservation. However, if the availability should be reservable online, the checkbox must be enabled.
    • Internal reserve quantities
      • If an internal reserve quantity of an availability that is not reservable should be kept, this can be set here either via a fixed quantity or via a percentage. This ensures that a reserve quantity is always kept non-reservable and held back for other purposes.
    • Clicking "Cancel" cancels the process and closes the dialog. Any changes are discarded.
    • Clicking "Save" applies the changes.
      • Saving is only possible if at least one change has been made.

Editing supplementary information

To edit information already created for an availability, proceed as follows:

  • Select the "Availabilities" navigation item.
  • Click an entry in the table.
  • An input dialog opens with the saved data - you can now edit it.
  • Clicking "Cancel" cancels the process and closes the dialog. Any changes are discarded.
  • Clicking "Save" applies the changes.
    • Saving is only possible if at least one change has been made.

Deleting an availability

To delete an availability, the following steps are required:

  • Select the "Availabilities" navigation item.
  • Click an entry in the table.
  • An input dialog opens with the saved data.
  • To delete the availability, click the red "trash icon" in the lower left area. After a confirmation, the notice is deleted.

A deletion removes the data within My Rental - Connect, but not in the app itself. Through another import, deleted availabilities can be loaded back into the Connect area.
