Getting started
Ready to get started? We've created a quick guide to help you get started using the My Rental app. Below you will find the recommended steps to get an overview of the app's core function. If you want to take a closer look at the individual features, take a look at the menu items on the left.
Signing up
Signing up for My Rental is completely free and you don't need a credit card to get started. After registration, sample capacities are created and displayed for testing the app.
First booking
At least one capacity is required for a booking. For a test, you can use the sample data that is available after available after registration.
To create a first booking, the tab must first be "Bookings" must first be opened. Then you can tap the blue plus icon in the lower right corner. This opens an input dialog for creating a booking. For a first booking, it is sufficient to enter the first or last name, the date or period of the booking, and the capacities to be borrowed. By tapping on the checkmark in the top right corner, the entries are saved, the dialog is closed, and the booking is created.
View the loan and return of a booking
Under the tab "Bookings" all bookings created in the app are displayed. The bookings are sorted in ascending order by date - the next issue of a booked capacity is at the top, and those further in the future are further down. The bookings are grouped by day.
By default, the issues are displayed. In the tab "Returns" all upcoming returns can be displayed. The list is equivalent to the issues.
Creating a capacity
To create a capacity, first the tab "Capacities" Then you can tap the blue plus icon in the lower right corner and select the desired capacity. An input dialog then opens in which the category, the name, and the quantity or maximum availability can be specified. Tapping the check mark in the upper right corner saves the entries, closes the dialog, and completes the creation. Alternatively, the entry can be canceled at any time via the "X" in the top left corner
